| Chocolate Peanut Butter Cuppies |
Two weeks ago, we gave my older sister a mini baby shower for her 2nd child... it's a girl! To celebrate another addition to the family, we pampered her with lunch at Burton's Grill in South Windsor, CT, pedicures, presents, and of course my favorite, DESSERT! I wanted to make sure the day was all about my sister, so I asked her what she was craving and with no hesitation she responded, Chocolate Peanut Butter. I was so happy because that too, is one of my favorite flavors. Now I have had made these many times before, but always like to try to make each order unique. So this time I decided to add a Reese's peanut butter cup on top even though I try to stay away from using the actual candy of the flavor I'm creating. These CPBs consisted of a moist chocolate cake, with creamy peanut butter butter cream frosting topped with half a Reese's peanut butter cup and some pink and white m&m's for flare. They were quite a hit and everyone enjoyed!
